A Pessary is a removable silicone device inserted and placed into the vagina which provides support to vaginal tissue displacements affected by pelvic organ prolapse. The pessary sits inside the vagina either around the cervix (neck of the uterus or womb) or at the top of the vagina (after a hysterectomy).
Helps with:
- Stress urinary leakage
- Supports pelvic organ prolapse
- May be used prior to or an alternative to surgery
